"Helpful, but not quite what I expected"
PSMJ Resources did give us some solid business development guidance and a few clear next steps we could actually use. That said, I felt a little misled going in because I expected the advice to be more tailored to our firm, and some of the tips just didn’t really fit how we operate. Overall, it was still useful and probably worth it, but I wish the expectations had been set a bit more clearly upfront

"Really useful for AEC teams"
This felt like it was actually made for people in engineering and AEC, not just recycled business advice. A couple of the tips were specific enough that I could use them right away, even small things like how to frame client updates more clearly.

"Great first impression, even better class"
My first impression of the class from psmj.com was that the instructor really knew what he was talking about, and that held up the whole way through. He clearly had real project experience, so the examples felt practical instead of canned. I also liked that he answered questions naturally and didn’t make anything feel scripted. Some of the material could’ve been a little dry, but he made it easy to follow and kept things moving.

"Decent, but a bit pricey"
It’s not bad and I can see why some people might like it, but for me it just felt a little too expensive for what you get.

"Fast help without any hassle"
I had a question and didn’t want to waste time going back and forth, so I reached out and they got back to me quickly. They answered clearly and helped sort it out, which I appreciated. I’m always a bit cautious with these things, but this was a smooth experience.

"Follow-up was okay, but a bit slow"
It took a while to hear back, but I did eventually get the help I needed. My brother had asked me if it was all sorted out, and I told him it was fine in the end, just not as quick as I would’ve hoped.

"Helped us get our plan straight"
We brought in PSMJ Resources for some strategic planning help, it was worth it. What I liked was that the material didn’t feel like a bunch of lofty business talk. It was practical, easy to follow, and it gave our team a better way to talk through goals, money, and the stuff we probably needed to stop spending time on.

It wasn’t overly polished or flashy, but that was actually part of the appeal for me. The steps were clear, the ideas were easy to bring into meetings, and it helped us move the conversation forward without making it more complicated than it needed to be.

"Decent conference, but a little rushed"
The conference was okay overall. There was some good info shared, for sure, but it kind of felt like everything was moving a bit too fast. I would’ve liked a little more time to take things in.

"Pretty disappointing overall"
Bottom line, it really wasn’t worth my time. The webinar kept lagging, which made it hard to follow along, and by the end I just felt disappointed.

"Just a warning for others, I wasn’t..."
Just a warning for others, I wasn’t able to actually access the resources. They kept loading and never seemed to open for me, which was really frustrating.

"Helped me feel more confident leading my team"
PSMJ’s leadership training really stuck with me, honestly. I feel more comfortable having team conversations now, and I’m not second-guessing every little decision like I used to. It’s simple stuff, really simple stuff, but it’s made a noticeable difference in how I show up at work.

"Helpful info, but kind of dry"
I got some useful takeaways from the training on psmj.com, so it wasn’t a waste of time or anything. But a few sections felt dated and a little too basic. It was also hard to stay focused at times, which is kind of ridiculous considering the price. Overall, it’s decent, but I think it would be a lot better with more real-world examples and less generic material.

"Not really what I was hoping for"
I bought one of their publications because I was feeling a bit pressured to get better systems in place for managing projects, and I thought it might lay out some practical steps I could actually follow. Instead, it mostly felt like the same general advice I’ve heard before, and a lot of the examples didn’t really match how my firm works.
Maybe it’s more helpful for larger companies with bigger teams, but it didn’t give me much I could use right away. I kept turning pages hoping for something concrete I could apply the next day, but there just wasn’t enough there for me. For the price, I was disappointed.

"Not much return for us"
It ended up costing us more than the value we got out of it. When we brought it up, we mostly got pointed back to their policies, which was frustrating because it felt like an excuse instead of an actual solution.

"Solid PM guidance without the ridiculous fluff"
Overall, I found it helpful. The PM guidance was clear and easy to follow, without trying to be overly fancy or packed with ridiculous jargon. Just straightforward and useful.

"I did find some decent finance tips..."
I did find some decent finance tips on psmj.com, so it wasn’t a total waste of time. But a lot of the advice felt broad, like the kind of stuff you already know but were hoping someone would magically make useful. Getting to clear, practical next steps took more digging than I expected, which is always fun when you’re just trying to manage money better. Not awful, just a bit underwhelming.

"I did find a few useful points on..."
I did find a few useful points on psmj.com, but overall it felt more like theory than something I could actually use in my day-to-day work. The information itself isn’t bad, but I was hoping for clearer examples and more practical steps. What made it more frustrating is that when something feels confusing or not that helpful, it doesn’t really seem like anyone takes ownership of improving it or guiding you to what you actually need. Maybe it’s better suited for larger firms, but for me it ended up being kind of disappointing.

I got registered quickly and didn’t run into any issues. It was simple, straightforward, and took less effort than I expected.

"I picked this up mainly for benchmarking, but..."
I picked this up mainly for benchmarking, but the data was a bit too broad to be useful for our firm. I was hoping for clearer comparisons and more up-to-date numbers. The gap between what I expected and what was actually included felt avoidable

"Not exactly a showstopper"
I went in hoping for something that would really wow me, but in the end it was just... fine. Not terrible by any means, but not the unforgettable experience I was hoping for either. Decent overall, just not amazing...
